What is definition of Health?

The WHO defines ” health as state of complete physical, mental and social well- being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”. The Centers for disease control and prevention, along with a ranges of WHO partners endorses this definition. Being healthy in their view, excludes having any disease.

An example of such a definition of health is: ” a state characterized by anatomic, physiologic, and psychological integrity; ability to perform personally valued family, work, and community roles; ability to deal with physical, biological, psychological, and social stress.”

What is definition of fitness?

Fitness is the condition of being physically fit and healthy and involves attributes that includes, but are not limited mental activity, cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition and flexibility.

Fitness is defined as “the quality or state of being fit and healthy”.

What is health related fitness?

Health related fitness fitness (HRF) is theoretically defined as multidimensional construct containing the components cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition.

Fitness is finding a balance between a healthy body, mind and spirit. A healthy body means taking care of ourselves by eating well and exercising. Feeling fit means knowing we are able to go out and do almost any activity ( biking, swimming, running, hiking), … fitness is feeling strong, rested and confident.

A healthy lifestyle not only changes your body, it changes your mind, your attitude and your mood.
